The species of tropical plants called Stonecrop or aeonium, “everlasting” in Greek, whose leaves are in the shape of rosettes, have medicinal properties and are native to the Canary Islands. Each of these plants has its own subspecies: the Bejeque Rosado, the common name for the aeonium percareum, is native to Gran Canaria.
