Sea urchins

In many Canary coasts it is easy to find skeletons of the urchin diadema ; shells of different colors  which, for their  aesthetics , are a treasure for anyone who discovers them in one piece. In addition to their decorative value, in contrast to the aggressiveness of their appearance when alive, these multicolored limestone pieces have pharmaceutical uses in agriculture, to correct soil acidity, and as dietary food for livestock, aquaculture and poultry.
